Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains refunds and cancellations for services supplied by vineyardtags.uk, trading as Vineyard & Orchard Digital. It applies alongside our Website Design Terms and Hosting & Maintenance Terms.

1. Digital Services (Design, Development, SEO, GEO, AEO, Consulting)

  • Fees are charged for time, expertise and work performed.
  • No refunds are given for work already completed, in progress or delivered.
  • If a project is cancelled, the Client will be invoiced for work done up to the point of cancellation, plus any third-party costs incurred.

2. Deposits

Project deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, as they secure scheduling and cover initial set-up.

3. Hosting Services

  • Hosting is billed in advance. Pre-paid hosting fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
  • You may cancel renewal at any time with at least 14 days' notice before the next renewal date.

4. Domain Registration

Domain fees are non-refundable once a domain has been registered or renewed, as fees are paid to the registry.

5. Subscription & Maintenance Plans

  • Subscriptions may be cancelled with at least 14 days' notice before the next billing date.
  • No refunds are given for the unused portion of the current billing period.

6. Consumer Cancellation Rights

Where the Client is a consumer under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day cancellation right for digital services. By expressly requesting that work begins immediately and acknowledging that the cancellation right is lost once the service is fully performed, this right is waived to that extent. Where you cancel within the 14-day window before performance is complete, you will be charged proportionally for the work already done.

7. Faulty Services

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights, including the right to services performed with reasonable care and skill under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. How to Request a Refund or Cancel

Email james.mcfarlane@vineyardtags.uk with your name, project or invoice reference, and reason. We will respond within 7 working days.
